About Wired 4DVD, version 1.0.1 This document contains important information about your Wired 4DVD software that's not included in the on-line manual you received with your Wired 4DVD package. Contents Turning off virtual memory Selecting disc menu options using the keyboard/controller Supported monitor resolutions Unsupported features Turning off virtual memory For optimum performance when playing a DVD disc, you should turn off virtual memory. To turn off virtual memory, use the Memory control panel. Selecting disc menu options using the keyboard/controller DVD discs are designed to be navigated by a standard controller. Some DVD discs do not support making selections in the disc's navigation menus using the mouse. Buttons in the disc's menus may not highlight when the mouse moves over them or they may not respond to mouse clicks. If you can't use the mouse to make selections in a disc's menus, use the arrow keys, or the navigation buttons on the DVD Station controller, to highlight a button, then press the Return key, or OK button on the DVD Station controller, to select it. Supported monitor resolutions The Wired 4DVD card supports monitor resolutions up to 1920 x 1080. Higher resoltuoins may work, but have not been tested. Unsupported features The Wired 4DVD card supports audio output via the external connectors on the back of card, and also via the Macintosh built-in speaker. This release only enables the Macintosh built-in speaker. Please check our web site periodically for news on when the external audio outputs will be enabled.
